Cornhole Bag Comparison Charts

Faster Side versus Slower Side

The data in the table below represents each cornhole bag's speed values.

Reading the Chart

  • The closer the value is to the left, the slower it is.

  • The further right, the faster it is.

  • The bar extending from the point is the speed range of the bag.

For example, the MN Tailgating Alpha series has a slower side value of 4.01/10 and a faster side value of 6.96/10 meaning both sides of this bag play slow.

Whereas the Scoreholio Spark series has a slower side value of 7.41/10 and a faster side value of 7.48/10 meaning it very fast on both sides.

Flop
This table shows the average flop of each series.

Reading the Chart

  • The closer the value is to zero, the floppier the bag.

  • The higher the value, the stiffer the bag.

For example, the Ultra Loosey-X has a flop value 1.89/10. This bag will be more likely to deform while sliding between bags or fall into the hole.

Whereas the Feist Bags Sassy has a flop or 9.04/10. The Sassy will be more likely to clog the hole and be better for pushing.

Width
This table shows the horizontal, and vertical widths for each series of cornhole bag.

There are some bags that are intentionally made to push the ACL bag standards. For example, Local Bags Rebel bags are designed to be small.

Smaller bags will be able to fit through gaps between bags easier. Whereas, larger bags will be better for blocking the hole.

The black tick mark in the legend represents 6 inches.

Bag Weight

This table shows each series' average weight in ounces.

Reading the Chart

  • The higher the value, the heavier the bag.

  • The lower the value, the lighter the bag.

For example, the heaviest bags are the C4 and the Hustler series. Several of Ultra's series are on the bottom end of the ACL bag policy allowable weight range.

The black tick mark in the legend represents 16 ounces.

Thickness

This table shows each series' average thickness in inches.

Reading the Chart

  • The higher the value, the thicker the bag.

  • The lower the value, the thinner the bag.

For example, the thickest bags are Local Bags Hustler and Mamba, and Reynolds Pro Advantage. Some of the thinner bags are KillShots AR and Ultra Vapor-X.

Thickness can be described as the "hand feel" of the bag. Thicker bags will fill your hand more.

The tick mark in the legend represents 1.25 inches.

Corner Roundness

This table shows each series' average corner radius in inches.

Reading the Chart

  • The higher the value the rounder the corner of the bag.

  • The lower the value the more square the corner of the bag.

For example, the most round bags are KillShots 357 and RPG series. The most square bags are Local Bags Rebel and Mamba.
